Thirteen days after officer-involved shooting, still no answers?

Postby Anonymous » Fri Apr 26, 2013 9:12 am

It’s been 12 days since an officer fired a gun on a residential street off South Dixie Highway, and city police haven’t offered an explanation.
The officer, whose name has not been released and was only described by a police spokesman as a “veteran,” is back on duty after a brief period on paid administrative leave.
Police spokesman Capt. David Bernhardt cites an “open investigation” as the reason why details in the April 13 shooting on Avenida Alegre have been withheld.

Come on!!! Its been over 2 weeks and they are still investigating? Bradshaw's boys would have gunned him down in the street, then Bradshaw would show up and quickly announce the "in fear of my life" excuse. The deputy would get a short vacation with pay and then it would be declared a "justifiable" shooting. That exact scene has played out numerous times in the past few months leaving several people dead. After Bradshaw declares it justifiable, then its up to his investigators to determine the same outcome or face the wrath of our fine Sheriff. Bradshaw is in essence the judge, jury and executioner and it only takes him 15 minutes!

The only way to get an immediate explanation from PBSO is when the perp is shot and killed. Then Bradshaw is scrambling to make a statement before the blood dries. Unbelievable. We live in a police state! PBSO is judge, jury and executioner!!!
